Visiting the Sahara Desert could be an amazing life experience, but it could also turn out to be the worst. This article will walk you through what to bring to the Sahara Desert of Morocco to get the most out of your trip to the south of the Kingdom. 

Lightweight & Breathable Clothes

Sahara’s weather can be extremely hot during the day and cold at night. Make sure to dress accordingly by bringing with you lightweight pants and breathable t-shirts to stay comfortable during both situations.

Walking Shoes

This item is essential if you’re planning to walk long hours. They need to be comfortable and previously tested to avoid any terrible experience.

Sahara Cap

This will protect the back of your neck from sunburning and your face,  in case of a sandstorm.

Sunglasses 

They can protect you from the sunlight but also from a potential sandstorm. 

Be careful, sometimes sand tends to scratch the glasses. Make sure to choose a pair of glasses adapted to the environment.

First-Aid Kit

We highly advise you to bring with you a headlamp on your trip to the Moroccan Desert.  

It is not always easy to get your way around at night in the desert, especially during the “new moon” phase.
